Paulo Leuenroth Tibau studied film and Television production at UCLA before working steadily for 8 years with American based production companies. He began as a cutting edge visual effects specialist before transitioning into producing and directing programs for television. Tibau, as he is known to his friends, returned to Brazil, and founded the department of video design and visual effects at Globo, the world’s largest television network. Over the last two decades, Paulo has worked on tens of thousands of hours of television programming as well as film productions, first as a visual effects supervisor and lately as a producer and director.
An avid sportsman, Tibau has started producing extreme sports programming for various outlets in Brazil. Currently, he is the lead producer of the Blue Carioca office in Rio de Janeiro. Paulo is instrumental in developing original content that have relevance to both the Brazilian and American markets.
